Cinematics Studies

Been meaning to study some of the beatiful CG game trailers there are out there for a while now. Since their purpose is to tell a story, sell an IP and make your jaw drop all in a minute or two then surely there's lessons to be learned from them? Compositions, colour pallettes, lighting set-ups, material representation.. so much juice to get out of these things. Here's a start...
